Point Avenue Updates: Kicking off Fall Term!

Point Avenue has been working hard to welcome our students back for Fall Term. Besides implementing strict safety measures in our physical centers to combat the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, we also make sure to have our teachers and staff ready for the new term. We are committed to creating a safe and secure environment, which facilitates the optimal growth and development of our students.

1/ Faculty Training Program for All Teacher

At Point Avenue, we believe in life-long learning for both our students and our mentors/teachers. To maintain the high standards of our service, we have conducted a series of training for our faculty to ensure that our teachers are up-to-date with the latest educational technologies, and are fully acquainted with our Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) Educational Philosophy, in order to deliver the best experience for our students.

2/ Webinar “College Talk: How We Made It”

To help students better prepare for their college application journey, Point Avenue organized the webinar: “College Talk: How We Made It” on Sunday (23 August). Our Head of Admission Consulting - Jason Lam provided some tips and useful tools drawn from his experience of helping students obtain $7,1 million of scholarship and financial aid in 2020.

We were lucky to have Tien Tran (UC Berkeley) & Yen Nguyen (Bryn Mawr College), our two brilliant students who got themselves into the top universities in the US, share some insights into their individual application process.

3/ Point Avenue students volunteering with Royal Thai Embassy

Point Avenue's mentors and students and the Royal Thai Embassy, Hanoi partnered together to promote bilateral relationships between Thailand and Vietnam by infusing their artistic abilities to design electric generators around the Embassy in Hanoi. If you have an opportunity to visit the Embassy on Phan Boi Chau Street, remember to check out their artworks.
